- Ingredients: We will investigate the ingredients in the products. We will, where we can, back up our findings with science based evidence.
- Cost: We will detail the cost of products and try to find the ones that give value for money. We will also highlight and hidden charges or schemes. We will not review products that have dubious free trials that will leave you out of pocket.
Not only do we provide detailed reviews, we also want your voice to be heard.
What makes us different is we will listen to you. We want you to suggest and rank alternative products. We also welcome comments and testimonials posted on alternative products.
Consumer reviews play a very important part when we research products. Here at Nutshell Nutrition we want you to feel part of the community. We want you to have a place where:
- You can write your own testimonials
- You can rate the products you have used
- You can suggest an alternative product
- You can vote for alternate products
- You can “like” or “unlike” other peoples reviews and comments.
It is your voice that people will take notice of. We want to hear about your experiences, be they good or bad.
You may not have celebrity status to endorse products, but in our eyes your views are more important. After all you don’t get paid for your opinions. They are more likely to be an honest reflection of the products you use.
The bigger picture we can paint, the more information you have as a consumer.

Robyn Coale, RD, FNP
Robyn graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University with a degree in Applied Health and a minor in Public Health. After graduation, she completed her dietetic internship at the University of Virginia to become a Registered Dietitian. Throughout the internship, she gained over 1200 hours of supervised practice experience in clinical, administrative, and community nutrition.
Robyn has been featured on NPR and Empire Internet Radio and also in SELF, Fitness Magazine, Women’s Health, Women’s Fitness, and Men’s Fitness magazine. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine Practice Group and was name an Agent of Change by Unilever in 2015. Within her experience, she has particularly noticed the negative impact of our society’s promotion of health, beauty and worth on women’s perception of not only health, but their value as humans, and she’s determined to change that for this generation and the next. Robyn is passionate about helping reclaim their joy of food and movement, live a life of freedom, and discover true health.
In 2012, Robyn began working alongside an endocrinologist and primary care physician as the Director of Nutrition for Revolution Health Center in Charlottesville, Virginia where she practiced holistic and alternative nutrition. Her desire to reach a larger audience led to the establishment of Nutshell Nutrition that same year to educate others about a non-diet approach to healthy living where the focus is on healing, nourishment, and intuitive living where food is about so much more than nutrients and movement about more than calories. Robyn’s practical, yet simple and firm, yet gentle guidance and advice will help you uncover who you were fully created to be and begin to live the life you were purposefully created to live.
Her work with clients cultivated a desire to provide more comprehensive care, which led her back to New York City to pursue nursing. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in May of 2015 and a Master’s of Nursing in December 2016 from Columbia University. She now works full time as a Nurse Practitioner in Manhattan in addition to her work with clients here, at Nutshell Nutrition.
Cody Jenkins, RD, LD
Cody Jenkins was born in Knoxville, Tennessee where she was raised in a close-knit community that thrived around a table. At a young age, Cody discovered the joy of food, cooking, and gathering for a meal. Fast forward several years later, and Cody’s love of food and her science-minded curiosity led her to study the intricate details that make up our bodies and ultimately make up who we are and how we function. The foundation of Cody’s practice is the belief that our bodies are good and that they are meant for good. Cody believes in the power of relationships, in joy, in fellowship, and in vulnerability. She loves getting to know people and loves hearing their stories. At Nutshell Nutrition, Cody loves helping others freely experience life and especially learn to truly enjoy food freedom.
Cody attended the University of Tennessee, where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition. Following graduation, Cody completed her dietetic internship at Emory Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia. Throughout over 1,200 hours of supervised practice, Cody provided Medical Nutrition Therapy in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. She also gained experience in community outreach, corporate wellness, pediatrics, and private practice. Her breadth of experience in many different settings further developed her passion for food and the power it can have in people’s lives. Cody soon noticed our culture’s fear and unhealthy obsession with food and wanted to find a way to help others experience food for what it should be. Cody believes that food is just food and that it is not to be idolized the way our culture so often tempts us to do. Cody loves walking her clients through the journey of finding a healthy relationship with food and exercise.
In her free time, Cody loves to laugh and talk with friends. She will always prioritize a slow cup of coffee and a long, peaceful quiet time in the mornings. Her favorite food is chocolate covered gummy bears and she loves to exercise at Barre3, but her favorite escape is the freedom and fresh air of a run in the park down the street. Cody believes baking is therapeutic and her guilty pleasure is Gilmore Girls. Cody lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, John Barry.
